Mona Patel Graham
Mona Patel Graham is a native of Jackson, Mississippi. Mona received her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in Economics, from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Mona earned her law degree and a Certificate in Healthcare Law in 2005 from Saint Louis University School of Law. While in law school, Mona participated in Moot Court, was a member of the Health Law Association and the Public Interest Law Group and served as a teaching assistant for Moot Court and Legal Research and Writing. Mona worked at the United States Attorney’s Office Eastern District of Missouri in the Health Care Fraud and Abuse division where she addressed matters under Health Care Fraud laws, Stark law, Anti-Kickback statutes, False Claims Act laws, and Medicare and Medicaid laws. Mona also interned at Legal Services for the Eastern District of Missouri, where she worked in the family law and property law divisions.
Prior to joining Taggart, Rimes & Graham, PLLC, Mona worked at a large metro-area law firm where she practiced in the areas of insurance defense, contracts, premises liability, products liability, medical malpractice defense, personal injury defense and other general civil litigation. In September of 2008, Mona joined the law firm of Rimes & Usry, PLLC where practiced in the areas of corporate law, real estate transactions and general litigations.
Mona currently focuses her practice to the areas of corporate law, real estate transactions and business litigation. Mona has handled a wide range of commercial transactions, including the formation of business entities, purchase and sale of real estate, loan transactions, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate and contract matters. Mona also represents individuals and businesses in complex litigation and advises business owners regarding structuring of business entities and assets to optimize efficiency while minimizing exposure.
